Shorashim Havdalah

Twice this year, we will gather as a community to mark the end of Shabbat with the ritual of Havdalah, meaning separation. Join us to say goodbye to Shabbat and hello to a new week.

Gearing up for b’nai mitzvah

We ask our students entering grades 5 and 6 to attend at least four Shabbat morning services this year. This helps them become familiar with the prayers and melodies of the Beth Am Israel service and integrates them into our larger community so they feel prepared to celebrate the milestone of b’nai mitzvah in seventh grade.
