Good morning, Chaverim,

This one felt like a reminder worth sharing on a freezing Friday morning in the dark of a long pandemic winter…

Here is today’s Everday Gratitude Quote in the Middle of a Pandemic:

While the news often features the worst of humanity,
there are a billion acts of human kindness every hour of every day!
Take another breath and sense this truth.

— Jack Kornfield

Question for Consideration:
What act of kindness can you perform today?

Kornfield’s “truth” is one I think we can all sense in a quiet moment.
Finding your way to it can sometimes be very challenging, especially in these times when the news, with its relentless daily death toll, “sure looks bad” (as Joni said)!

So, as Shabbat approaches, I wish you all a few moments tonight and tomorrow in which you might take that “breath” and know that there is a world of kindness happening all around you.

Shabbat shalom to all,

Marci
