We’ve been counting up to this day for 7 full weeks, 49 complete days, and now we’re here, at the foot of Mount Sinai ready to receive Torah. The Zohar – the central book of Jewish mysticism (or Kabbalah) – likens Shavuot to a wedding celebration. Our connection to Torah is one of love. Here at Beth Am Israel we celebrated that coming together with learning and with music. You’ll find the schedule for the holiday (and especially for tonight) below. We hope to see you as together we receive Torah in our special Beth Am Israel way. Hag Sameah!
