MLK Day of Service:  Schedule of Events

 

In years past, we honored Martin Luther King, Jr, by a day of service – in person! This year, we will be online – or masked and socially-distanced; but our work remains. We have an obligation to each other, to look out for and to serve.  Please join us to learn, to care, to help.

  • Race, Reflection & Response: Teen Discussion. Registration now closed.

  • Black-Jewish Relations in a Time of Crisis: How do we build and sustain positive and productive inter-communal and inter-religious relationships in this time of crisis? Registration now closed.
  •  Triple Pandemic: Aging, Racism and Covid:  Learn about the specific struggles of older people in your community and how you can help. Registration now closed.

12:00 pm to 12:55 pm

  • Pardons in Pennsylvania:  Understanding the Problem, Being part of the solution. CLE credit available. Registration now closed.

12:15-12:55

  • Open Heart Processing Space: An opportunity for participants to reflect on and process conversations of the day as well experiences of this past year relating to racial justice.  Teens and adults welcome.  Registration now closed.
