Please join us at our next BAI Book Group on Sunday, October 15 at 10:15a at the home of a member. For the next meeting, please watch the movie Oppenheimer, which is still playing in local theaters. In addition, either read American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, by Kai Bird OR read any other non-fiction book or article about the life of Robert Oppenheimer.
“J. Robert Oppenheimer was one of the iconic figures of the twentieth century, a brilliant physicist who led the effort to build the atomic bomb for his country in a time of war, and who later found himself confronting the moral consequences of scientific progress.”
New participants are always welcome. You may come to as few or as many sessions as you like.
