About Chef Nissimmi Naim-Naor
Nissimmi Naim-Naor is a renowned Israeli chef and the creator of Israel’s television show A” Pot of Longing,” in which he cooks family recipes with those who have lost their loved ones. Chef Naor’s cuisine tells a story of his cultural journey with Jewish, Mediterranean and Israeli roots. His menus are celebrated for their vibrant, seasonal dishes, brimming with the bounty of Israel’s local ingredients. He has worked in Israel’s finest kitchens, including that of celebrated Israeli Chef Eyal Shani. Chef Naor holds degrees in philosophy, economics, political science, and law, in addition to his professional training. He previously worked as a consultant to the Israeli Prime Minister and is currently a rabbinical student at the Hartman Institute. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife Shlomit and their three daughters.
