This short quote is so simple, and yet so profound, as we often find in the wit and wisdom of the late, great Maya Angelou.
Here is today’s Gratitude Thought in the Midst of a Pandemic:
“This is a wonderful day. I’ve never seen this one before.”

There are important life lessons in this seemingly simple quote:
Let us see each day with new eyes…and welcome it.
Let us assume that each new day will indeed be “wonderful”!
Let us find joy and be grateful for each uniquely wonderful day…a day we’ve “never seen before”.
Let us approach each day with wonder; present and awake, attentive and open to all the lessons the day has to teach us.
Let us value each day we are given for the gift that it is.
All of this, and so much more, is there for us to choose…simple, but powerful, inherent in the promise of every sunrise.
